The flu destroyed me.
I spent two days in bed with a fever over 102 Fahrenheit accompanied with lots of dry/wet hacking. I can't recall the last time I was that sick... maybe when I was 13 and had a brutal ear infection. Oh yeah, I got salmonella poisoning last Sept. That sucked too. Anyway, the worst is behind me as my fever has broken and all that remains is some sporadic coughing. Nothing like a bout of sickness to make healthy feel so good. I think I'll indulge in some red wine to night.
Double oh yeah... The only time I left the house was to go see an special optometrist. Now I have reading glasses because I suffer from midline shift syndrome. I took a photo of myself to show all of you just how happy I was during the flu.
