Breathalized

WOOOOHOOOO!!!!.....

Tonight I got pulled over for speeding and then got breathalized cause I said I had 1 tallboy. (I really had two (2)). I'm not typing this from the back of a cruizer or a cell so we all know that things ended up fine,.... grand infact. Wow!, are there a lot of legalities with the breathalizer procedure. The officer gave me a wrong demonstration. He didn't blow long enough. Then he got all pissy when I did just like him. How the fuck should I know that I really had to blow until the buzzzer stopped? Damn.

Well that's it for now. I've gots to be getting to bed after this tall boy. I don't have any pics of the party I was at, though I took TONS with other people's cameras, and I didn't take a snap shot of the cop so I will just post I shot I took in the car last week.

I think I'm in love.

Ahh... the fetish for station wagons is growing bigger. If not, then the collection definitely is. Behold,.....

This lovely beaut is the latest addition. 5 speed! No rust. A little engine that just want to rip it! .......I'm drooling. Of course, no love is perfect. The rear hatch needs a little repair, one of the front brakes may be a little messed and we suspect a rear wheel bearing will have to be replaced soon. But look at it! Its red and its a shaggin' wagon!

P.S. Used car salesmen are a weird breed.

Small town story #2

About four weeks ago I was driving around Nobourg and came upon a police car stopped in the middle of an intersection and pulled up next to a van. With lots of cars around I assumed that there had just been an accident or something. NO, the cop was just chatting with this dude and holding up traffic in all directions. This went on for three cycles of traffic lights before someone honked... and guess what the cop did? Nothing. He just ignored the 12 (or so) cars that were around. Finally some cars decided to go around. Some old lady almost got smoked as she took a left turn, all to more honking which the cop just ignored. I made it through the intersection, steaming with frustration, but rather calm because I had J.S. Bach blarring. Now, not even five blocks away I drove by a fresh accident. I checked out a poor Corolla that had been hit in the side and ran over a lamp post and saw a big Buick (I think) which was the other car involved. 'Ahhhh, how ridiculous' I thought, or something like that.

But the story goes on. Just last week I found out that the Corolla was being driven by a buddy of mine and I hadn't spotted him when I drove by because he was checking out the damage underneath the vehicle. The poor guy got smoked by this old lady who drove through a stop sign. Right after he got hit he almost drove into a group of teens waiting for Young Drivers lessons (HA!) and then swerved into the light post. He was fine (except for some spilled coffee), the Corolla wasn't so fortunate, it got written off with a totalled front end. The lady didn't do so well either. She realized she was too old to drive.

Visions of the last two weeks.

I'm amazed how time flies while life is in a routine. April (the month of b'days) is just ripping by and I can't believe this is my first post to mark this glorious gregorian fraction of the year. So, with some rare Hendrix cranked up to 11 and while I wait for the dryer to 'ding' I have put together a visual tour-de-photo of recent times past.

Two weekends ago I was in T.O. meeting with some relatives (who were up from Chi-ca-go) at the Four Seasons. We got to party on the 32nd floor. Here is my little sis and I swailing some sour apple martinis in style followed by me drinking some glorious roasted bean juice.

Another photo I took can be found here.

I also got to get ripped off beer at a place where a good buddy (Heavy D) use to work. I will not likely ever go back. Unless convinced by fine ladies (of course).

The day after T.O. I went to C'fuck and went riding and drank more beer. Teddy and I got caught in a thunder shower and got absolutely drenched while biking back from buying some cheese for our dinner. The top tube on my beloved bike looks like I gave it a light sanding because of all the sand that got thrown on my pants. It makes me happy.

With warm weather comes car maintenance. Here is a shot of my father doing some unsafe welding. I got to watch him set his jacket and cushion on fire while fixing a bumper.

Well that's all for now folks.
